My name is Jonathan L. Fuentes, known throughout the industry as Big Jhon The Barber.
My barbering journey began in 2000 during a difficult season when I had lost my job and needed to provide for my family. My brother-in-law, Mario Morales, gave me an opportunity to work at his barbershop—even though I didn’t know how to cut hair.
What began as a necessity quickly became a career, a passion, and a purpose.
For 26 years, barbering has been about much more than haircuts. It’s about building relationships, serving families, and creating connections that last for generations.
That passion eventually helped open the doors to NU IMAGE BARBERSHOP, creating opportunities for other professionals and their families to grow alongside us.
Through every challenge, opportunity, and accomplishment, one thing remains at the center of my story: all the glory belongs to God.
What began as a necessity became purpose. What began as an opportunity became legacy. And 26 years later… we’re still building.

17 Years of Experience
Barbering has always been part of Zayvee’s life. Growing up in a family of barbers and beauty professionals, he discovered his passion for the craft at a young age and began cutting hair as a teenager.
Today, with 17 years of experience, Zayvee sees barbering as more than a haircut—it’s about confidence, connection, community, and craftsmanship.
His greatest motivation is his daughter, inspiring him to continue building a career and legacy she can be proud of.

Recognized as one of the most consistent and disciplined female barbers in the entire area, Jessie has dedicated 14 years to perfecting the art of barbering, building a reputation based on precision, commitment, and results.

Mix The Barber
Behind every great barber… there’s a story worth telling.
With 26 years of experience, Mix has not only mastered the art of barbering, but he also represents the true spirit of service that defines this profession. His story began at just 11 years old, when he started cutting his grandfather’s hair, who had a disability.
During that time, his father was struck by a vehicle on Route 72 while trying to help someone who was stranded on the highway. While his father recovered, Mix took on the responsibility of caring for his grandfather before and after school for five years.
What began as a family necessity… became a passion and a mission. Today, after more than two decades in the barbering industry, Mix continues to use his talent for much more than just haircuts: Helping people feel better about themselves, building their confidence, and serving the community.
Jose Danien Rosado Figueroa | Danien Barber
Behind every barber, there’s a story of sacrifice, discipline, and dreams.
Danien Barber is a talented young professional who left his beloved Puerto Rico with a clear vision: to work hard and build a better future for his family.
With approximately 10 years of experience, his discipline, dedication, and unique talent have allowed him to accomplish in a short period of time what has taken many others years to achieve. But one of the things that truly sets Danien apart is his heart for serving the community. Danien has specialized in working with children with autism, creating an environment of patience, understanding, and respect so that every child can have a comfortable and positive barbershop experience.
For him, barbering isn’t just about cutting hair… it’s also about serving, helping, and building confidence in every person who sits in his chair.
Eduardo Garcia | Dual Barber

A passion for barbering often begins at home…
For Eduardo Garcia, also known as Dual Barber, it all started when he was young, watching his father cut his and his brother’s hair. That simple moment became an inspiration.
His father was the example that sparked his interest in the art of barbering and hairstyling. Over time, when Eduardo and his brother became teenagers, their father decided to teach them everything he knew. That’s where the journey began. First, they practiced by cutting each other’s hair, then they began cutting friends and family… until that passion eventually became a profession.
Today, with 6 years of experience, Dual Barber continues to perfect his craft while providing professional service to every client who sits in his chair.
Jerry Acevedo | “Traficante Del Estilo”

Jerry’s passion for barbering began in Puerto Rico, inspired by friends who introduced him to the craft. After training at EBAS Beauty Academy, he built his experience in high-volume barbershops and later joined La Fama Barber Shop in Ponce, where he had the opportunity to work with several artists. After moving to the United States, Jerry found a new professional home at NU IMAGE BARBERSHOP. Today, with 26 years of experience, he continues transforming styles, building confidence, and proudly representing the art of barbering.
SANTIAGO LLONGO “THE BARBER SAN”
10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
The story of The Barber San began with a need… but it became a purpose. Inspired by his brother and his mentor, CHATRU, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, he began his journey into the art of barbering. Later, he refined his talent at Barber Shop Abaste in El Coca – Orellana, where he developed his technique and his passion for transforming lives through a haircut.
After the pandemic, he decided to take the next step as an entrepreneur and open his own barbershop, serving families, children with dreams, and clients who today have become part of his story. Today, he has arrived in the United States and joined the family of: NU IMAGE BARBERSHOP, because for him, barbering isn’t just a job…It’s brotherhood. It’s friendship, it’s transforming confidence.

And today, 5 years later, where he is isn’t the result of coincidence. It’s discipline, consistency, and evolution. Every cut reflects his growth. Every client confirms his calling. For Carlos Jair, better known as Carlitos Green, barbering began with something much deeper than simply learning how to use a pair of clippers. It began with a personal experience. Carlitos discovered how a great haircut could transform his self-confidence, change the way he saw himself, and make him feel different about who he was. And that sparked a question that eventually became a passion: “If a haircut can make me feel this way… why not create that same feeling for someone else?” Today, after 2 years of working professionally in the industry, Carlitos Green continues to perfect his technique, develop his style, and grow with a clear vision: to make sure that every person who gets out of his chair doesn’t just look good, but feels even better than when they walked in. Zayan Skanidtis / Zayan Barber
Leandro Zayan Skanidtis Mora, better known as Zayan Barber, began his journey in Venezuela when he was just 12 years old. It was his mother who introduced him to the culture of barbering. At the time, it seemed like nothing more than a hobby, but as life changed, one thing remained: his desire to one day turn that talent into a stable profession.
Today, 10 years later, Zayan can look back and confidently say: “It was the best decision.” Behind every haircut is a decade of growth, discipline, practice, sacrifice, and evolution. Today, that experience is part of a new chapter as he continues to elevate his craft and leave his signature on every client who sits in his chair.

With 4 years of professional experience in the industry, Josue’s story began long before he ever picked up a pair of clippers. He grew up watching his father in the barbering environment and learned from an early age that a great haircut can do much more than change someone’s appearance—it can transform their confidence, attitude, and the way they feel about themselves. What began as a hobby, cutting his friends’ hair after school, gradually developed into a true passion. From that point on, Josue decided to prepare himself, perfect his techniques, and grow through discipline, turning his father’s influence into his own path within the industry. Today, Josueblends continues to evolve with a clear mission: to make sure every client who sits in his chair not only receives an excellent haircut, but also leaves feeling fresh, renewed, and with a new level of confidence.
MEET JESSE
Every great story has a beginning… and Jesse’s started from the ground up—literally sweeping the floors of barbershops. Born and raised in Connecticut, Jesse has been in the barbering industry for over 20 years, but he has never forgotten the process that brought him to where he is today. He openly admits that it took him about six years to truly develop and refine his skills as a barber. And that’s an important part of his story: he learned that this craft isn’t mastered overnight. It takes practice, patience, consistency, and respect for the process. From sweeping floors to working behind the chair. From watching to learning. From learning to mastering his craft. And more than two decades later, he still loves what he does. For Jesse, barbering is about much more than just a haircut. He enjoys the art, the creativity, and most importantly, the connection with every person who sits in his chair. Today, he is a proud member of the NU IMAGE BARBERSHOP team, surrounded by a great group of professionals who all share the same mission: To serve our community, one person and one haircut at a time. Because behind every great barber are countless hours no one saw, mistakes that became lessons, and years of dedication that eventually speak for themselves.
